All the staff are very nice and helpful. They have a good shop in the back if you need your equipment worked on.

Kissing people in value small town and by now
I went here 4 times in two days while building a zip line platform with my brother in -laws. They have a pretty decent selection of hardware. The ladies in the front seemed less than enthusiastic every time in I went over two days- no smiles, seemed underwhelmed etc. They did have a 3/8 inch breaker bar, did not have nail spikes, did have lag bolts, do carry Blue-Kote. The small engine shop in the back seemed good, but we didn't use their services. I had to find everything myself every time even after asking. Prices are on par with other small town hardware-type stores. NOTE: this is NOT a lumberyard.
English Hardware is an excellent store for many reasons. The prices of merchandise are always fair. Moreover,prices at English Hardware often beat the prices of larger retailers. This store has a Small Engine Department with helpful and very capable staff with fair rates.
